Cimak Gear is a Konya-based manufacturer specialising in custom gears and power transmission components. Its manufacturing experience dates back to the 1980s, while the company has operated under the Cimak Dişli name since 2005. Today, projects can begin with a technical drawing, a physical sample or defined technical requirements and progress from engineering evaluation through prototypes and serial production.
Manufacturing Knowledge Since the 1980s
Cimak Gear's foundations are rooted in the manufacturing experience gained by its founding team in gear production, machine manufacturing and industrial power transmission solutions since the 1980s. This experience took a corporate form under Cimak Dişli in 2005, with the company progressively developing its engineering, manufacturing and quality-control capabilities to serve customers across different industries.
Engineering Support from Design to Manufacturability
Cimak Gear does more than manufacture from completed drawings. New gears can be designed around operating conditions, load, speed and application requirements; existing drawings can be evaluated for manufacturability; and physical components without technical drawings can be prepared for reproduction through reverse engineering. Engineering work is supported by SolidWorks, AutoCAD, KISSsoft and Inventor.
Broad In-House Manufacturing Capability
Cimak Gear's production infrastructure supports CNC turning and milling, gear-cutting processes, broaching, grinding, honing, shaving, EDM and laser processing. Heat-treatment processes can also be carried out in-house, enabling projects to be managed through a more integrated path from engineering evaluation to manufacturing and final inspection.
Material Selection Based on the Application
Material selection is evaluated according to operating conditions, loads, heat-treatment requirements and project specifications. Cimak Gear works with engineering steels used in gear and power transmission applications, including 16MnCr5, 20MnCr5, 18CrNiMo7-6 and 42CrMo4.
Dimensional Inspection and Quality Control
Manufactured components are subject to dimensional and technical inspection according to project requirements. CMM and relevant measuring equipment are used within the quality-control process. Project-specific tolerances and quality requirements are addressed during technical evaluation rather than presented as a single universal tolerance claim.
From Prototypes to Serial Production
Cimak Gear can evaluate requirements ranging from one-off parts and prototypes to low-volume and repeat serial production. This flexibility supports different B2B sourcing scenarios, from machine manufacturers developing new applications to aftermarket customers requiring the reproduction of an existing component.
